KARACHI: At least eight people, including three MQM activists and family members of a Balochistan MPA, were shot dead as the ongoing wave of target killings intensified in the city on Monday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
According to reports, the wife and daughter of Sibi MPA Mir Bakhtiar Domki, a grandson of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, and their driver were killed in an attack near the Gizri flyover late on Monday night.
Police said four assailants riding two motorcycle bullets in a lane, critically wounding the driver and the MPAís wife and daughter, who were sitting in the backseats. A girl survived the attack luckily. The injured were taken to the Jinnah Hospital, where they succumbed to their wounds.
Three MQM activists were also died on Monday night at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital after being fatally shot near the Alam Pride Apartment in Bilal Colony in New Karachi. Police said the threeóidentified as Adil, Irfan and Adnanówere ambushed by four men on two motorcycles.
