ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Whip in the National Assembly Amir Dogar has submitted a reference to the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser under article 63A against 20 party defectors for their disqualification.

It was pleaded in the reference that the process of de-seating PTI dissidents be initiated.

Meanwhile, the debate continues in the National Assembly on Saturday on the No-Trust Motion tabled by the joint position against Prime Minister Imran Khan with the Speaker Asad Qaiser in the Chair.

The Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the process of voting on No Confidence Resolution be started in the House as per the judgment of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Otherwise, he added, that it will be a Contempt of Court.

Bilawal said that the No Confidence Motion is a democratic way to oust the sitting government.

In his remarks, the Foreign Minister and the Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that blatant attempts are being made for Regime Change in Pakistan and history will expose the elements behind it.

Qureshi said that Pakistan being a sovereign state will not accept dictation from any other Country.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the threat letter is authentic which was forwarded by a seasoned diplomat.

The Vice Chairman PTI proposed an In-Camera Session of the Parliament on the matter. He said that the ambassador in Washington can be asked to give a briefing to the House to ascertain whether or not the document is authentic.

The foreign minister said Pakistan desires to improve relations with all the Countries including the United States, China, Russia and the European Union to enhance its diplomatic space. He said that we do not want to be hostile to any Country.
