Two Pakistan Army Soldiers embraced martyrdom in a fight against terrorists in in Makin area of South Waziristan district, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ISPR said that the fire exchange took place between the security forces and terrorists in Makin on March 29, 2022.

The ISPR said that the troops responded in a befitting manner and killed four terrorists.

However, during intense exchange of fire with terrorists, 25-year-old resident of Rawalpindi Captain Saad Bin Amir and 37-year-old resident of Tank Lance Naik Riaz embraced shahadat having fought gallantly.

The ISPR said that the area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

It said that the Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave officers and soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
