ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Sessions Court in Islamabad on Thursday awarded death sentence to Zahir Jaffer in Noor Mukadam Murder Case.

The Additional Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani announced the verdict reserved on February 22, 2022.

The Court also awarded 10 years imprisonment to Zahir Jaffer’s accomplices Iftikhar (watchman) and Jan Mohammad (gardener) while acquitted Zahir’s parents Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, and all employees of Therapy Works.

The 27-year-old Mukadam Murder, the daughter of a retired diplomat Shaukat Ali Mukadam, was found murdered at a residence in Sector F-7/4 on July 20, 2021.

On the same day, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the primary accused Zahir Jaffer. He was arrested under the Section 302 (premeditated murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
