NationalIPDS and AATS sign MoU to establish vocational training institutions in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD/CHONGQING: The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) and the ASIN ASEAN TS Chongqing Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish skill development and training institutions in the underdeveloped areas of Pakistan.

The President and Legal Representative of AATS Fei Cui and the Director IPDS Muhammad Asif Noor signed the agreement on behalf of the organizations.

The MoU is aimed to promote mutual understanding and friendship between Pakistan and China by establishing joint training centers and institutions to help alleviate poverty and strengthen economic development in the Country.

Both organizations aim to develop cooperation in the areas of vocational education and training with a particular focus on creating a skilled workforce ready for the future.

The aim of this collaboration is also to help and benefit communities and poverty alleviation through various training and skills development courses, expert training, study tours, and student exchanges based on sharing of experience and knowledge.

A joint working relationship has been established through this MoU for long-term collaborations with an aim to international education exchange and enhancing cooperation on students’ vocational education, training, internships, and employment assistance.

As a result of this agreement, along with the establishment of the vocational centers, new and innovative business training especially eCommerce will be outlined and executed. There will be a greater chance for the graduates from these centers to find jobs and do business to help elevate the poverty from Pakistan. Along with the training, there will be student exchange programs and study tours arranged for building and strengthening China-Pakistan relations.

The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) is a Pakistani institute based in Islamabad. It was established in June 2014 and is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit Research, Advocacy, and Public Diplomacy Think and Do Tank. IPDS is envisioned to be Higher Education Institution in the future.

The aim of IPDS is to impart strength to Pakistan’s efficacious role in global diplomacy through creative and visionary research, dialogues series, education modules, effectual advocacy, consultancy services, well-built & knitted public diplomacy initiatives, and engagements in the thematic dimensions of Peace and Diplomatic Studies.

The ASIN ASEAN TS Chongqing Group established in 2014, is a group company formed by outstanding shareholders from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Laos. It has three holding companies. ASIN ASEAN TS is mostly specialized in International service, consulting, and trade. The company’s strategy is based on related diversified operations. The main business scope is engineering contracting, real estate development, financial services, hotel management, leasing services, and organic agriculture. The market area covers Southeast Asia, especially in Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
