ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Track & Trace System (TTS) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the sugar industry on November 23, 2021.

The TTS will ensure electronic monitoring of manufacturing and sales of products of important sectors i.e Tobacco, Fertilizers, Sugar, and Cement.

The media reports said that against the backdrop of the new crushing season, the FBR has placed the Track and Trace System on all 78 sugar mills across the Country to ensure electronic stamps on all produced sugar bags to gauge the real production of the tax-evading sector.
