ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: On the 75th Independence Day, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has planned a range of exciting events at the Pakistan Sports Complex (PSC) in Islamabad and its subordinate offices at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

The following sports activities will take place on August 14, 2021;

  • The 75th Independence Day will start with a flag hoisting ceremony at 07:55 am at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad
  • Hockey Match (Female) at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium at PSC in Islamabad at 1630 hours
  • Lawn Tennis at PSC in Islamabad at 1630 hours
  • Football Match at Jinnah Stadium at PSC in Islamabad at 1630 hours
  • Chess Championship Azadi Cup-2021 at Rodham Hall at PSC in Islamabad from August 14-15, 2021 at 1630 hours
  • Futsal (Female) match at PSC in Islamabad at 1730 hours
  • Cycling, Table Tennis and Weightlifting at PSB Coaching Centre in Lahore
  • Badminton and Table Tennis at PSB Coaching Centre in Karachi
  • Squash and Badminton at PSB Coaching Centre in Peshawar
  • Boxing and Fencing at PSB Coaching Centre in Quetta

The tree plantation and closing ceremony will be held at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad at 18:30 hours.

The Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) & President PSB Dr. Fehmida Mirza will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
