Government of PakistanPM Imran Khan inaugurates Ship Lift & Transfer System at Karachi Shipyard

KARACHI, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday inaugurated Ship Lift and Transfer System at the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works.

While addressing the event, the prime minister said that Pakistan has been progressing in the adoption of modern technologies in different fields.

The prime minister said that technological advancement was not pursued in the past and we failed to exploit our real potential in every field. He said that Pakistan has gradually been heading towards prosperity as the government has steered the economy to the right direction with effective and durable policies.

Imran Khan underlined that we have to move forward through an economic recovery process through increased remittances, export-oriented growth, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and control over money laundering.

“When nations decide to be self-sufficient, God Almighty sends His Special Assistance, to help those nations become stronger,” he said.

The prime minister said that the government has been making efforts to build the Country on the principles of Riyasat-e-Madina which teach us to stand our own foot. He said that reliance on foreign support damaged the Country.

“The Holy Prophet (PBUH) established the Riyasat-e-Medina based on egalitarian principles of rule of law, justice, and equity. This is our desire; to be representative of those lofty ideals set in place by the Holy Prophet (PBUH),” Imran Khan said.
