Pakistan records new 2,455 COVID-19 Cases, 73 deaths

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country recorded 2,455 new infections and 73 deaths caused by COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

The NCOC’s data showed that 55,442 tests were conducted across the Country to ascertain the virus on May 28 and 2,455 of them returned positive with a ratio of 4.42%.

To date, a total of 916,239 COVID-19 Cases have surfaced in the Country while 20,680 people have succumbed to the virus.

With a 91.3% ratio, 836,702 people have recovered so far from the disease in the Country.

As of May 29, 58,857 COVID-19 patients are receiving treatment and 4,083 of them are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the walk-in vaccination for people aged 20 and above has begun in the Country today.
