NCOC to open COVID-19 vaccination registration for 19 years & above from...

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday decided to open up the vaccination registration against COVID-19 for the people aged 19 years and above from May 27, 2021.

In a statement on Twitter, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said that now the registration will be open for the entire national population which is approved by health experts for COVID-19 vaccination.

Meanwhile, 2,724 more people contracted Coronavirus and 65 died of it across the Country on May 25.

In the last 24 hours, 59,076 COVID tests were conducted across Pakistan and 2,724 of them returned positive recording a ratio of 4.61%.

Province-wise COVID-19 Positivity Ratio on May 25, 2021:

Punjab – 2.92%
Sindh – 6.66%
KPK – 5.81%
ٰICT – 2.68%
Balochistan- 6.73%
AJK – 8.71%
GB – 0.87%

With fresh infections and fatalities, now the total number of people infected by Coronavirus in the Country has reached 908,576 whereas the death toll has mounted to 20,465.
