ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the bomb blast at Quetta’s Serena Hotel last night.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives in the condemnable & cowardly terrorist attack in Quetta yesterday,” the prime minister said in a statement on Thursday.

The prime minister said that our nation has made great sacrifices in defeating terrorism. He expressed the resolve that we will not to allow this scourge to rise again.

“We remain alert to all internal & external threats,” Imran Khan said.

Last night, four people including a policeman were killed and 12 others were injured when a car bomb went off in the parking area of Serena Hotel located on the Shahrah-e-Zarghun Road in Quetta.
