We recently revealed the official price and features of Corolla Cross. As the company is offering the CBUs imported from Thailand, it is worth comparing the three available variants in Corolla Cross launched in Pakistan to make a wise choice. The Toyota Corolla Cross variants include Premium High Grade, Smart Mid Grade, and Low Grade. As evident by the names, the premium variant comes with a fully functional setup. Let’s compare the three variants to find out the key differences.

Performance

All three variants of Corolla Cross come with a 1798cc 3ZR-FEX (Hybrid) engine. This powerful engine is capable of producing 71hp, and the electric motor generates 72hp. If we talk about the displacement status, the combined horsepower of the engine and electric motor is 168hp and the Torque is 305Nm.

Moreover, the transmission status in all three variants is CVT.

Exterior Comparison

When it comes to the exterior of all the Corolla Cross variants in Pakistan, we get LED projector headlamps in the top two variants (Premium and Smart). On the other hand, the Low Grade variant comes with Halogen headlamps. All three variants feature the Follow Me Home headlights system – the lights turn off after a few seconds of turning the engine off. LED DRLs and Front Fog Lamps are also common in three variants. However, the top two variants come with Auto Rain Sensors which are missing in the base variant. If we roll over to the wheel section, the three variants feature 17-inch Alloy Wheels along with Ventilated Disc Brakes on the front and Disc Brakes on the rear.

Interior Comparison

When it comes to the interior details, all three Toyota Corolla Cross variants feature the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) with multimedia controls. While this may be true, the top two variants also get extra control on the steering wheel for Cruise Control.

If we talk about the entertainment cluster, the top two variants house an 8-inch Touchscreen, while the Base variant has Standard Audio System.

Moreover, the top two Corolla Cross variants have Dual Zone Auto AC, while the base variant comes with Single Auto Zone with Rear AC vents. The driver seat is 6-Way powered in the top two variants whereas, the passenger seat is manually adjustable. The base variant on the other hand offers manual seat adjustment for both driver and passenger seats. Furthermore, the Premium variant is the only one to have a Moonroof and leather seats in the car. The smart and base variant features fabric seats in the car.

Safety Comparison

When it comes to safety features, the top-of-the-line variant and smart variant comes with 7 airbags. While this may be true, the base variant comes with only 2 airbags. Meanwhile, the common safety features include ABS +EBD + Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Back Parking Sensors, Front Parking Sensors (Only in Premium and Smart), and Hill Start Assist.
