Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity ratio stands at 10.8%

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 4,757 COVID-19 infections were reported while 78 infected persons breathed their last in the last 24 hours across Pakistan, as per the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning.

The statistics showed that 43,965 people were tested on March 30 and 4,757 of them were found Corona positive, recording a national positivity ratio of 10.8%.

Province-wise COVID-19 positivity ratio;

Sindh              3.50%

Punjab            12.85%

KPK                13.21%

ICT                 10.52%

Balochistan      4.50%

AJK                 14.10%

Gilgit-Baltistan  3.86%

In the last 24 hours, 46 COVID-19 patients died in Punjab, 23 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and 2 each in Sindh and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

To date since the beginning, a total of 667,957 Coronavirus Cases have been detected in the Country.

Out of them, 265,433 Cases have surfaced in Sindh, 220,392 in Punjab, 87,055 in KPK, 57,833 in ICT, 19,557 in Balochistan, 12,663 in AJK, and 5,024 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Besides, so far 14,434 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the disease including 6,365 in Punjab, 4,497 in Sindh, 2,342 in KPK, 568 in ICT, 352 in AJK, 207 in Balochistan, and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

In total, 603,126 people have recovered now from the disease whereas 50,397 patients are still battling with the virus.
