Pakistan records 3,669 more COVID-19 Cases

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 3,669 people suffered COVID-19 infections whereas 20 lost their lives in the Country on March 21, the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) showed.

In the last 24 hours, 43,498 tests were conducted across the Country to ascertain the virus, and 3,669 of them returned positive.

The NCOC data showed that on March 21, 8 people died of Coronavirus in Punjab, 7 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 2 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

To date, with a ratio of 2.2%, a total of 13,863 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the disease across the Country including 5,982 in Punjab, 4,479 in Sindh, 2,215 in KPK, 545 in ICT, 336 in AJK, 203 in Balochistan, and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Additionally, a total of 630,471 Coronavirus have so far been detected in the Country since February 26, 2020.

Out of them, 263,290 Cases have been registered in Sindh, 199,040 in Punjab, 80,037 in KPK, 52,086 in ICT, 19,342 in Balochistan, 11,704 in AJK, and 4,972 in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

With a 92.6% ratio, 583,538 COVID-19 patients have so far recovered while 33,070 patients are undergoing treatment.
