PESHAWAR: A blast occurred at Charsadda Road in Peshawar’s Daudzai area on Thursday evening that left at least two policemen killed and three others injured.

The police party was on routine patrolling when they came under attack with a remote controlled bomb in Neora area of Daudzai, police officials said.

“Three cops have died and as many injured in the attack which appeared to be carried out by a remote controlled IED,” police official Fazl Jan said.

The injured policemen were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police cordoned off the area and rescue teams reached at the scene.
