ISLAMABAD: The price of petrol is expected to be raised by Rs.2.20 per liter and high speed diesel is likely to drop by Rs.1.50/lit.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has already dispatched to the Ministry of Petroleum the summary regarding the change in the prices of petroleum products.

The OGRA recommended the petrol to be raised by Rs.2.20 and light diesel by ten paisas per liter. Meantime, high speed diesel has been suggested to be slashed by Rs.1.50/lit and kerosene oil by 40 paisas.

As the suggested prices come into effect on June 1, the petrol will come to stand at Rs.99.79, high speed diesel Rs.104.56, kerosene oil Rs.93.77 and the price of light speed diesel will come to stay at Rs.89.16/lit.
