PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) would contest the upcoming general election on its own, the party Chief Munawwar Hassan announced on Saturday

In his address to a gathering of the Islami Jamiat Talaba at JI’s provincial headquarters Al Markaz Al-Islami, Hassan said his party has finally decided to go solo in the elections with its election symbol, a scale and its own flag, adding that JI will opt for seat adjustment with other parties.
