ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet on Wednesday ratified the Electric Vehicle policy for four-wheeler vehicles.
In a statement, the Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar said that it will prove instrumental in rationalizing costs of purchasing, manufacturing, and promoting the use of electric vehicles in Pakistan.
Hammad Azhar said that the ECC also ratified the removal of certain anomalies in the Mobile Phones Manufacturing policy.
