RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan & Afghanistan H.E. Benedict de Cerjat held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting matters of mutual interest and regional security situation were discussed.
The ISPR said that the visiting dignitary appreciated the bilateral relations enjoyed between Pakistan and Switzerland and pledged to further improve the same.
The Switzerland ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution for conflict prevention in the region, the ISPR added.
