ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has said that Pakistan’s ‘Look Africa Policy’ continues to show some results as its exports in a number of African Countries has posted a reasonable growth.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the adviser said that although, the overall export value is still smaller as compared to the existing potential but our exporters must be appreciated for their efforts to find new markets for Pakistani products despite the overall impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy.

The adviser also shared the trends of Pakistan’s exports to African Countries in July 2019 and 2020, according to which, Pakistan’s exports to Malawi grew by 1,254 percent in July 2020 as compared to the exports of same month of last year. Likewise, Pakistan’s exports to Libya grew by 914 percent, to Cameroon 228 percent, to Congo 123 percent, to Zimbabwe 103 percent, to Lithuania 26 percent, to Chana 25 percent, to Ukrainian 22 percent, and to Djibouti 17 percent.

The adviser also shared the trends of Pakistan’s exports to African Countries in July 2019 and 2020, according to which, Pakistan’s exports to Malawi grew by 1,254 percent in July 2020 as compared to the exports of the same month of last year.
