148 more people succumb to Coronavirus in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Unfortunately, 148 more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease while 4,044 further people fell victim to the Coronavirus in Pakistan on June 24, according to the data released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) on Thursday.

However, 3,553 patients won the battle against the virus in the last 24 hours which took the number of total people having been recovered from COVID-19 to 81,307.

To date, a total of 192,970 people across Pakistan have been infected by the Coronavirus and 3,903 have died of it.

In terms of fatalities, Punjab remains at top with 1,602 deaths followed by Sindh with 1,161 deaths, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 869 deaths, Islamabad with 115 deaths, Balochistan with 108 deaths, Azad Kashmir with 25 deaths, and Gilgit-Baltistan with 23 deaths. Currently, 5,895 Coronavirus patients are admitted in 769 hospitals having COVID-19 facilities across the Country. As per the NCOC data, 8,837 violations of health guidelines/instructions were observed across Pakistan during the last 24 hours.  More than 887 markets/shops, 7 industries units were sealed and 1,513 transporters were fined/sealed.
