Google Reveals ‘What Is Pakistan Searching For?’  Google has got some interesting information from every Pakistani out there. The search engine giant is known for rolling out information that reports every country’s hits and misses, and major searches as well. This time, Google has released the first-ever report on, “What is Pakistani searching for”?  What Is Pakistani Searching For?  In its latest report, Google via Think with Google has detailed the search habits of Pakistanis using the search engine throughout the country. The report suggests the online behavior of Pakistanis and how they are changing with recent times.  According to the report, over the last three years, Pakistan’s digital population has increased by over 68%. Around 78 million users have been using Google to watch, read, buy, learn, or run a business.  The Search Trend of Pakistanis on Google  According to the findings, Pakistani citizens are using the internet to make more educated decisions on what they want to purchase online. As per the statistics, nearly 55% of the shoppers search for the product on Google, watch the YouTube videos for more information, and then read reviews to understand the buyer feedback before making the purchase. When compared to the last year’s research, 81% of people are trying to make more informed and educated choices rather than just putting their money without being sure.  The Searches of Pakistanis In The Last Year  As for what people are actually searching on Google, the trend this year has been a positive one. More and more people are using the search engine to know more about body image and a positive mind. It has been reported that there has been an overall 1.5 times increase in searches related to ‘vegetarian cuisine’. A whopping 189% growth was witnessed in the fitness-related searches and a 175% increase in HIIT workout on YouTube. This clearly explains how Pakistanis are using Google more for a healthier lifestyle and fitness than just entertainment.  Furthermore, there has been a surge in the environmental consciousness among the people as well. This can also be dedicated to the increased smog in the country and its effects on the population last year. The report hints that people are becoming commendably more curious about the impact of pollution levels and the deteriorating air quality as a result. For ‘clear skies’, the search rose by 300%, ‘clean air’ by 225%, and ‘clean water’ by 217%. The environment and keeping it safe and clean might just be becoming the priority of Pakistanis.
