The Indian actor Anil Kapoor has joined TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service owned by Beijing-based ByteDance.

The 63-year-old ever-green bollywood actor has been quite active on the internet for a while now. He often uses different digital platforms to share funny videos and updates about his latest projects.

My introduction to TikTok was a matter of pure chance. This is yet another gift that ”Malang” has given me! The app is such a fun outlet for creativity, and I can’t wait to explore it,” the actor said.

Anil Kapoor has featured in numerous blockbusters movies such as “Mr. India”, “Parinda”, “Virasat”, “Welcome” and “Nayak: The Real Hero” among many others. He also starred in the academy award-winning movie “Slumdog Millionaire”.

His upcoming movies include “Malang” (set to be released on February 7, 2020), “Mumbai Saga” (set to be released on June 19, 2020), and “Takht” ” (set to be released in 2021).

It’s worth noting that TikTok video-sharing app has also plunged into a lot of controversies, especially in Pakistan.

It was banned in India last year by the Madras High Court for spreading pornography, potentially exposing children to sexual predators, and adversely impacting their mental health. However, later the ban was lifted on April 24.
