ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The China-Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) in collaboration with Power China will organize a two-day International Conference titled “Belt & Road Initiative in Changing Regional Dynamics” in Islamabad on November 20-21, 2019.

The Inaugural Session on November 20 will formally begin with Introductory Remarks by the Director CPSC Dr Talat Shabbir followed by Welcome Remarks by the Director General Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) Ambassador Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry.China-Pakistan Study Centre Organizes Conference ‘Belt & Road Initiative in Changing Regional Dynamics’

The Chairman PowerChina Resources Ltd. Shen Yuming will also make his remarks while the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing will be the Keynote Speaker followed by the Chief Guest’s address.

In the Session One titled “BRI 2.0” Perspectives of Shared Future”, the Ambassador Masood Khalid will Chair the Panel Discussion.

The panelists will include Professor Shi Yuanhua (Fudan University), Dr Fazla-Ur-Rehman (University of Sargodha), Professor Guo Xuetang (Shanghai University of International Business and Economics), Dr Zahid Anwar (University of Peshawar), Dr Xu Jianying (Chinese Academy of Social Science), Dr Human Baqai (Institute of Business Administration), and Professor Lin Minwang (Fudan University).

The Ambassador Salman Bashir will Chair the Session 2 titled “Future Trajectory of Pakistan-China Relations and CPEC”.

The Panel will include Professor Tang Mengsheng (Beijing University), Hasan Daud Butt (KPK Board of Investment), Dr Liu Zongyi (Shanghai Institute of International Studies), Dr Mirwaiz Kasi (University of Balochistan), Professor Song Zhihui (Sichuan University), Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt (Government College University, Lahore), and Dr Li Qingyan (China Institute of International Studies).

The Session 3 titled “Changing Regional Dynamic” will be held on November 21, and Chaired by Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry.

In the Session 3, the Panelists will include Professor Feng Yujun (Fudan University), Aamir Rana (Pakistan Institute of Peace Studies), Professor Zhang Jiadong (Fudan University), Dr Wang Shida (China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations), Dr Liaquat Ali Shah (CPEC Center of Excellence), and Professor Ye Hailin (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences).
