Monitoring Desk: “Azerbaijan has always been a very responsible member of the United Nations and it has achieved tremendous success in recent era”.

This was stated by the President of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly Tijjani Muhammad-Bande in the program “Global Discussion” with Anastasia Lavrina on the CBC TV Azerbaijan.

Commentator cum Presenter of CBC TV Azerbaijan Anastasia Lavrina while holding Political TV TALK SHOW “Global discussion” asked several questions to UN General Assembly President Tijjani Muhammad Bande about regional issues including Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Responding to a question,  he stated that the consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are reflected not only in Azerbaijan and Armenia, but also in the entire region, and in the world.

He maintained that Azerbaijan has (had) always been a very responsible member of the United Nations. And this is very important.

He stated that UN relations with Azerbaijan have been developing very positively and Azerbaijan has achieved tremendous success.

Talking about achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by Azerbaijan, he stated that any progress of any country brings its contribution to the development of all of us and this is very important.”

“The United Nations is keen help to resolve such conflicts in the very near future and most importantly without violence, because violence is something we need to avoid”, he added.
