QUETTA, Pakistan: Five people including three police officials suffered injuries in a blast which went off on Spinny Road in Quetta on Monday, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

Sources said that the blast took place at Pashtunistan Chowk, and the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle.

They said that in the blast, a police van was targeted.

Soon after the blast, the security forces cordoned off the entire area while the injured persons were transported to the Civil Hospital Quetta.

Earlier on September 30, terrorists opened fire at Police’s Eagle Squad on Quetta Road in Loralai district of Balochistan, killing a policeman and leaving two further policemen injured.
