ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government on Friday announced reduction in prices of petroleum products from September 1, 2019, according to which, the prices of petrol and diesel have been slashed by Rs 4.59 and Rs 5.33 per litre respectively.

Following the cut in prices of petroleum products, the new price of petrol will be Rs 113.24 per litre.

The price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs 5.33 per litre, meaning the HSD will now be available for Rs 127.14 per litre from September 1.

Likewise, the price of kerosene has been cut by Rs 4.27, and its new price will be Rs 99.57 per litre.

The Light Speed Diesel (LSD) will now be available for Rs 91.89 per litre after a Rs 5.63 reduction in its price.
