ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Spokesperson Nadeem Afzal Chan has reportedly tendered his resignation.

However, the news about his resignation hasn’t yet been confirmed.

It’s also yet to be ascertained whether he resigned over personnel issues or differences with the government prompted him to resign.

The reports circulating in media also stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided in principal to change his spokesman.

The reports stated that Nadeem Afzal Chan apologized to the prime minister, and excused himself from staying as his spokesman any longer, saying that he wasn’t suitable for the position. Afterward, it has now been decided to replace him with Fawad Chaudhry, the former Information Minister and the incumbent Minister for Science and Technology.
