RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar visited troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) at Siachin, Neelum & Muzaffarabad valleys, Kotli and Bhimber Sectors, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a press release on Friday, the ISPR said that the Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lt General Bilal Akbar hailed the high state of readiness and morale of troops.

Lt General Bilal Akbar also reiterated commitment for safety and security of population along the LoC.

Last Wednesday, five Pakistan army soldiers embraced martyrdom while one got injured in an explosive blast at Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (AJK) Barnala area in Chamb Sector, a few meters from the LoC.
