MediaSenior journalist Syed Abbas Athar passes away in Lahore

LAHORE: Senior journalist, columnist and poet Syed Abbas Athar passed away in Lahore’s CMH early Monday morning after long-suffering of cancer ailment and treatment at hospital.

Syed Athar Abbas was well known columnist and used to write his columns under title of ‘Kankrian’ in leading newspaper of the country.

He was also a respected critic and current affairs analyst on a private TV channel and liked by a large number of viewers.
