The program offers benefits to all Pakistani customers who’ve download and registered on the Carrefour Pakistan app. Each customer gets a unique barcode that they can scan at the register as they’re checking out. This unique barcode is your key to the endless benefits and points Carrefour has to offer.
No matter how big or small the purchase, customers will get guaranteed points worth 0.5% of their total bill. If they spend more PKR 5,000 or more in a single transaction, customers will immediately get a whopping 250 points in their account.
Another interesting fact is that the customer will also receive extra points on selected items or entire category of products within each leaflet period. This means that the customer purchasing a product e.g. a bottle of 250 ml Dove shampoo will straight away get 150 points on the purchase. This type of point benefits is known as variable generosity as it varies from product to product or amongst categories in specific departments of the store. Only selected items and categories are however chosen for variable generosity at the end of every two weeks.
