LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government has assured full proof security for players during the 4th Edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Lahore will host three PSL matches on March 9, 10, and 12. The match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United will take place at Gaddafi Stadium on March 9 while Lahore Qalandars will again take on Multan Sultans on March 12 at the same venue.

In order to review the security arrangements for the PSL matches in Lahore, the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar presided over a high level meeting on Wednesday.

The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani and senior officers of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) also participated in the meeting besides other high level officials.

The Punjab government constituted two committees to finalize security arrangements for PSL matches scheduled to be organized in Lahore. The committees were formed for rescue, emergency, and civil arrangements.
