ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa will hold the “Christmas Celebrations” in Islamabad on Thursday (December 20, 2018).

The event will be organized in collaboration with Pur Fazal Kaliseya Pakistan at Heritage Museum Hall from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm.

The objective of the Christmas Celebrations is to express a message of solidarity and unity with the Christian Community from a cultural perspective.

Christmas Celebrations will also be broadcast Live on http://lokvirsa.org.pk/live-telecast

A large number of people belonging to the Christian Community are expected to attend these Celebrations.

The Opening Ceremony will begin with cultural performances while the special features of the event include congregation of the Christian Community, Christmas cake cutting ceremony, erection of Christmas tree, distribution of sweets among children by Santa Claus, and Christmas Choral Competition among Church Choirs etc.
