The Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 has entered the Semi Finals Stage in which England will take on Belgium while the Defending Champions Australia will meet Netherlands.
The two Semi Finals will take place at 03:30 pm and 06:00 pm respectively as per Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on Saturday at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India.

England qualified for the Semi Final by beating Argentina 3-2 in the first Quarter Final while Australia outclassed France by 3-0 in the second Quarter Final.
Likewise both Belgium and Netherlands reached the Semi Finals Stage by beating Germany and Host India 2-1 respectively in the third and fourth Quarter Finals.

Among the four Semi Final qualifiers, Australia has so far remained unbeaten in the event and won all of its four previous games. Belgium also didn’t concede a defeat but one of its group stage match ended in draw against India.
Pakistan’s journey in the tournament has already ended after it failed to clinch a single victory in the group stage. Pakistan faced Germany, Netherlands and Malaysia but except a 1-1 draw against Malaysia, it lost the other two.
Even in the Crossover Match against Belgium, Pakistan lost by 0-5 and ended its Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 Campaign at number 12.
The Final and the Match for Third Place will be held on Sunday (December 16) at the same venue.
