LAHORE: Indian spy Sarabjit Singh is dead in Jinnah Hospital where he was admitted after receiving head injuries in a fight with his jail inmates who attacked him with bricks and plates while he was out for lunch from his special barrack on April 26.

It may be  mentioned that Indian terrorist Sarabjit killed 14 Pakistani citizens in Lahore and Faisalabad in 1990 and was arrested while he was returning to his country via Wagah border. Later on, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) awarded him death sentence in 1991.

Earlier yesterday, Singh’s family returned to India via Wagah Border. According to sources, doctors said his brain was medically dead and was shifted to ventilator after he was admitted to Jinnah Hospital.
