NationalResolution condemning Israeli plane’s landing in Islamabad submitted in Punjab Assembly

LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) lawmakers Mirza Javed has submitted a resolution at Punjab Assembly in Lahore, condemning Israeli plane’s landing in Islamabad.

“We strongly condemn landing of Israeli plane in Pakistan,” said the resolution.

It said that Israeli plane landed in Islamabad and stayed at the airport for 10 hours. It demanded that the government should public the information regarding landing of Israeli plane.

The issues of Israeli plane’s landing in Pakistan surfaced after an Israeli journalist Avi Scharf’s tweet on October 25.

However, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) clarified that no Israeli aircraft entered Pakistani airspace or landed at any of its airport.

In a statement, the CAA Spokesperson said that the reports in this regard are totally baseless.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi has summoned the fourth session of the House on the opposition’s requisition on November 8.

It is for the second time that the opposition has requisitioned the Punjab Assembly session besides the maiden and a budget session called by the treasury.
