ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its Candidates for upcoming by-elections in 37 National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies Constituencies.

The by-elections will be held on October 14, 2018 in 11 National Assembly Constituencies, 13 Punjab Assembly Constituencies, nine Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Constituencies, two Sindh Assembly Constituencies, and two Balochistan Assembly Constituencies.

As per a press release issued by the PTI Central Media Department on Thursday, the PTI Central Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry said that Malik Khurram will contest the by-election from NA-56 Attock-II, and Ali Awan will be vying on PTI’s ticket from NA-53 Islamabad-II.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Mansoor Hayat Khan will by PTI’s Candidate from NA-63 Rawalpindi-VII, Humayun Akhtar Khan from NA-131 Lahore-IX, Muhammad Alamgir Khan from NA-243 Karachi East-II, and Aftab Siddiqui from NA-247 Karachi South-II.

From PK-3 Swat-II Sajid Ali, from PK-7 Swat-VI Fazal Maula, from PK-97 Dera Ismail Khan-III Faisal Ameen Khan, from PK-78 Peshawar-XIII Muhammad Irfan, and from PK-99 Dera Ismail Khan-V Agha Ikram Ullah Gandapur will be PTI’s Candidates, Fawad Chaudhry said.

The PTI Central Information Secretary said that PTI’s Sardar Qadir Bakhsh will contest the by-election from PS-87 Malir-I.

Likewise, he added that Shahnawaz Raja will be PTI’s Candidate from PP-27 Jhelum-III, Owais Dareshak from PP-296 Rajanpur-IV, and Zohra Batool from PP-272 Muzaffargarh-V.

From NA-60 Rawalpindi-V, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq has been awarded PTI’s ticket to run in the by-election.
