The third track of “Coke Studio 11” Episode 3 “Piya Ghar Aaya” has been released, featuring Fareed Ayaz along with Abu Muhammad Qawwal and brothers. It is the remake of evergreen and iconic “Piya Ghar Aaya” recorded by them. They have recreated the spiritual ode to divine love.

Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwal and brothers’ sterling rendition, shredded voice and chords progression has lit the fire. The traditional soundscape works its way to ecstatic peaks with powerful vocals and percussive handclaps in order to engage audience closer to the divine. The strong combination of melody itself brings the people closer to God.

In the first episode of “Coke Studio Season 11”, they recorded Shikwa/Jawab-e-Shikwa along with Natasha Baig.

Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad qawaal and brothers are masters of Sufi Music, Qawwali as well as classic genres including thumri, tarana and khayal. They belong to the Qawwal Bachon ka Gharana-musical school which was founded in 14th century in Dehli. They have been performing internationally for over 30 years.

They have represented South Asian Music in United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Nepal, Bangladesh and many other countries around the globe. They have also performed in “Aman Ki Asha” by Times of India and Jang Group of Pakistan.
