ISLAMABAD: The outlawed Tahrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has prepared a comprehensive plan to kidnap former President Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf, Intelligence agencies have warned, adding that in a bid to successfully execute its plan the militant group has constituted various teams.

Intelligence agencies have issued an advisory in this regard which says that TTP has hatched a plot to kidnap Pervez Musharraf with the help of local jihadi elements, sources said.

They added an attempt would be made to hijack Musharraf on way from the sub-jail to the court. The time and place when/where this plot would be executed remains unknown.

Intelligence agencies have, therefore, proposed ensuring Pervez Musharraf’s utmost protection and security.
