PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Chief of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan has said that the state and system will suffer if their patience is pushed beyond limits.

Talking to media at Bilour House in Peshawar, Asfandyar Wali Khan said that a conspiracy is being hatched to oust ANP from elections; however, he added that, they won’t leave the field empty.

The ANP Chief said that the attack on Haroon Bashir Bilour was not only meant to dent the electoral process; rather, it was part of a conspiracy aimed at to keep ANP away from the upcoming general elections 2018.

Asfandyar Wali said that it was a cowardly act to attack from the behind, adding that if the enemies have dignity, they should attack from the front which will be reciprocated accordingly.

In addition, he announced that during the three-day mourning over the martyrdom of Haroon Bilour and other ANP workers, all political activities will remain suspended. He said that they will resume the election campaign after the mourning.

The ANP Chief said that after yesterday’s tragedy, all claims about free and fair general elections turn out to be mere rhetoric. He said that their reservations are mounting.

Meanwhile, son of deceased Haroon Bilour, Daniyal Bilour, told Mashaal Radio that no matter how hard the terrorists try, we will stay firm.

Daniyal Bilour said that i will continue my family mission to serve Pashtuns under the flag of ANP.

“We are Bacha Khan’s followers and won’t bow down to terrorism,” he said.
