LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) known as PML-N has announced its Party Manifesto for the general elections 2018 with election slogan of Vote ko izzat do—Khidmat Ko Vote Do (Respect to the vote and Vote for services).

Title page of PML-N Manifesto has a collage with photos of Mother of Nation — Fatima Jinnah, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, national poet of Pakistan Allama Iqbal, Mian Shebaz Sharif and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

It is pertinent to mention that Fatima Jinnah is a symbol of contesting the writ of Martial Law and Army rule of late Field Martial Ayub Khan by contesting elections against him and her struggle against Army rule during 1964-65.

While addressing at Manifesto launching ceremony, the President PML-N and the former Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shebaz Sharif was of the view that the philosophy of welfare of the people is (was) the crust of of PML-N Election Manifesto 2018.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Manifesto contained the policy responses to the major challenges faced by Pakistan and solutions are (were) included in Manifesto with the help of experts and relevant stakeholders through deliberations. He said that preamble of Manifesto included the work and target achieved by PML-N during the last five year tenure in power.

Chief spokeswoman of PMLN who is former Federal minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb read message of former head of PMLN and former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif who is in London before official launch of PMLN Manifesto which stated that conspiracies were hatched against the government of Mian Nawaz Sharif right after 2013 general elections and formation of his government.

Nawaz’s message covered several issues and claimed that PMLN government launched CPEC project, successfully completed the process of restoration of peace in Karachi, won against terrorism and produced surplus electricity during the tenure of PMLN 2013-2018 government in centre and Punjab.

Addressing the ceremony, President PMLN Shebaz Sharif said PMLN included 11,000 Mw electricity through new projects in five years and loadshedding was controlled. He stated that Pakistan could produced only 18,000 Mw from all projects which were launched during the last 68 years and his party included an extra of 11,000 only in five years.He stated that PMLN government introduced renewable energy sources like wind mills, solar projects etc.

He stated that Neelum-Jhelum hydel energy project was not completed in 12 years and PMLN government also made this project operational.

He stated that Social Security projects link Benazir Income support program will be enhanced but linked with a commitment from receiver that at least one child of family will get education. He stated that this will enhance spectrum of empowerment of poor and weak. He stated that his government believe in social economic uplift of population.

Empowerment of poor and weak

Incentive of stipend girls for education

Spectrum of Education Endowment Fund  will enhance to all over the country which was only in province of Punjab.

Health Card (Health Sector) which was announced by PMLN government after 2013 but KPK refused to accept Healt Card and Punjab introduced Health Card in 17 districts of Punjab. This Health Card will be launched countrywide after coming in power through General elections 2018.
