LAHORE, Pakistan: The Caretaker government in Punjab has extended its six-member Cabinet, and four new members have been inducted in the Provincial Cabinet.

Four news members including Saeed Ullah Babar, Sardar Tanvir Ilyas, Nauman Kabir and Chaudhry Faisal took oath at 3:00 pm on Friday at the Governor House in Lahore.

The Caretaker Chef Minister Punjab Dr Hassan Askari also participated in the oath taking ceremony.

Earlier the Punjab Caretaker Cabinet included Zafar Mahmood, Dr Jawad Sajid Khan, Shaukat Javed, Anjum Nisar, Zia H Rizvi and Ahmad Waqas Riaz.

Meanwhile talking to the newly appointed Chief Secretary Punjab Akbar Durrani and Inspector General Punjab Kaleem Imam in Lahore on Friday, Hassan Askari said that Punjab caretaker government will use its all resources for free, fair and transparent elections.

The Caretaker Chief Minister said that fundamental responsibility of the caretaker government is to hold transparent and impartial elections and administration has to fulfill its duties in a neutral way.
