BAKU, Azerbaijan: A delegation of Pakistani media representatives – which is currently on a visit to Baku – has noted that Pakistan as a nation and its media stand with Azerbaijan over the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

It was expressed when a delegation of Pakistani media met the Head of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) in Baku on Monday.

It was noted in the meeting that visiting Pakistani delegations offer maximum coverage of important events of Azerbaijan. Likewise, Pakistan offers full support of its respective media organisations to promote point of view of Azerbaijan at national as well as international level.

During the meeting, Pakistani media delegation and AZERTAC head decided to collaborate to enhance already excellent bilateral relationship between the two Countries.

The team of AZERTAC explained to Pakistani media delegation that how news agencies work in Azerbaijan, and also discussed opportunities media men of the both the Countries could take advantage to promote bilateral relationship.

The participants of the meeting were of the view that Pakistan and Azerbaijan media men can work together to promote cultural integration of both the Countries as both the nations had a historic linkages spanning over many centuries.

The members of Pakistani delegation appreciated the civic facilities provided by the Azerbaijan government to its citizens and were of the view that Baku is one of the best cities to be lived in.

It was decided that media men of both the Countries would remain in touch in the future to get maximum advantage of their today’s meeting.

The Chief Editor of Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency Agha Iqrar Haroon offered full support to promote Azerbaijan’s point of view over Karabakh crises at national and international media including Russian speaking population and media outlets.
