World12 Madrasa Students killed in Kandahar suicide blast

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan: The war-torn Afghanistan bleeds again as at least 12 Madrasa Students were killed and 16 further including five Romanian soldiers wounded after a suicide blast struck the Country’s Southern Kandahar Province on Monday.

The incident took place in Haji Abdullah Khan village of Daman District wherein a suicide bomber detonated his explosives close to a convoy of foreign troops.

The Afghan Ministry of Education confirmed the death of 12 Madrasa Students in Kandahar suicide blast.

Besides five Romanian Soldiers, nine civilians and two policemen were also among the injured persons.

Earlier in the day, twin blasts rocked the Afghan Capital Kabul, killing 29 persons including seven journalists and injuring more than 40 others.
