ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Security Adviser Lt. General (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua will visit Kabul on Saturday for talks with the Afghan leadership.

His visit is being undertaken on a special invitation from National Security Adviser Afghanistan Haneef Atmar.

In his visit, Nasser Janjua will meet the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, the Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, his Counterpart Haneef Atmar and the Chief of the National Directorate of Security (NDS).

During the talks, both sides will work together and chalk out a way forward to improve bilateral relations and enhance cooperation particularly with reference to the peace initiative undertaken by the President of Afghanistan.

Pakistan fully acknowledges that peaceful Afghanistan means peaceful Pakistan. Both countries have a common future and common destiny. Pakistan is always prepared to work in a cooperative frame work and provide every help to win peace in Afghanistan.
