ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said the parties which believed that horse trading had been done in Senate Elections 2018, they were ready to devise a strategy along with them.

“PML-N has never been involved in horse trading,” Nawaz Sharif said while talking to media in Islamabad.

Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had been strictly against the horse trading, adding they believed that action must be taken against horse trading.

Meanwhile talking to media, the State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said they didn’t blame anyone for horse trading. She said action should be taken against those involved in horse trading.

The minister said the questions should also be raised that how parties having just six seats bagged 26 votes.

The State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry said they wanted to increase the sanctity of the Parliament.

“Let the Parliament be Parliament not the municipality,” Talal Chaudhry said.

Talal Chaudhry said they had to see whether the Parliament was being given the due respect and authority.

Meanwhile, the Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir resumed hearing of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members in Islamabad.

The Court, on the request of the Defense Counsel, allowed Nawaz Sharif to leave the Court due to illness.

Nine more prosecution witnesses would record their statements before the Court.
