LAHORE, Pakistan: The Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday said the people wanted democracy to flourish in the Country, and they didn’t want their leaders to be ousted on Court’s verdicts.

In his address at a Ceremony in Lahore, the railways minister said that wasn’t happening for the first time in Pakistan as elected leaders were thrown out against the aspirations of their followers.

Saad Rafique said some elements had been trying to disrupt the development process in the Country but hoped that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would again come into power with two-third majority in 2018 general elections.

“Change will come with the power of vote not with verdicts,” the federal minister added.

The railways minister reiterated that they would continue to respect state institutions, and they didn’t want confrontation with anyone.

Khawaja Saad Rafique also said PML-N believed in politics of development and would keep on serving the masses. He said they had changed Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and now they would also change Karachi and Peshawar.
