Pre-Opening Ceremony Story!
The excitement has reached its peak as the much awaited third edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 is posed to kick off on Thursday with an enthralling and spectacular Opening Ceremony at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The event will feature a number of famous national and international celebrities while Sufi Singer Abida Parveen, US Pop Singer and Dancer Jason Derulo, and two Pakistani Pop Sensations Shehzad Roy and Ali Zafar will perform at the grand stage to electrify the crowd.
Pakistani Movie Stars Bilal Ashraf and Hareem Farooq will Host the HBL PSL Opening Ceremony. Besides other musical performances and firework, the internationally acclaimed Classical/Jazz Ensemble Sachal Orchestra will mesmerize with their soulful tunes and a rendition of national anthem at the Opening Ceremony.
Earlier on Wednesday, the HBL PSL Artist Press Conference was held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in which all artists along with the Chairman PCB Najam Sethi spoke about their performances at the Opening Ceremony and apprised how much they were excited for the fascinating event.
Following the Opening Ceremony, the Defending Champions Peshawar Zalmi will take on new Entrant Multan Sultans in the first Match of PSL – a franchise T20 Cricket Tournament organized by the PCB, in which top International and Local Cricketers represent six Cities of Pakistan; Quetta, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Islamabad and Multan vie for PSL glory.
There will be a total of 34 T20 Matches at four different venues which include Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Qaddafi Stadium Lahore and National Stadium Karachi. The Final will be held on March 25, 2018.

Meanwhile, the PCB has also announced the Panel which will supervise the HBL PSL 2018 Matches. The Panel includes Aleem Dar, Ahmed Shahab, Tim Robinson, Khalid Mehmood, Ranmore Martinesz, Shozab Raza, Rashid Riaz and Asif Yaqoob as Umpire whereas Roshan Mahanama and Muhammad Anees will be the Match Referees.
