Government of PakistanNow decisions will only be made by people’s thumbs: Marriyum Aurangzeb

SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said their opponents waited for the finger of the umpire but now the decisions would only be made by the people’s thumbs.

Talking to media representatives along with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Pervaiz Rasheed in Sheikhupura, Marriyum Aurangzeb said they were striving for the sanctity of vote.

The information minister said the election Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for holding mere an ‘Iqama’ but no corruption was proved against him.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said Nawaz Sharif’s efforts helped Pakistan overcome energy crisis, and prior to that he made Pakistan an atomic power.

Senator Pervaiz Rasheed said Pakistan was made an atomic power Country by Nawaz Sharif. He said Nawaz Sharif also took the Country out of darkness.

The PML-N leader said Nawaz Sharif would address the people of Sheikhupura on Sunday (tomorrow).

“The people of Sheikhupura will show their support to Nawaz Sharif tomorrow,” he said.

Separately while talking to media in Sheikhupura, the State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry said the nation would elect its right future leaders.

Talal Chaudhry said Nawaz Sharif was the soul of their politics. He said Sharif family stood united against odds and enemies.

“We will again elect Nawaz Sharif as our prime minister,” Talal Chaudhry said.
