PoliticsDisrespecting people's mandate is intolerable: Maryam Nawaz

MANSEHRA, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Friday said disrespecting mandate given by the people was intolerable, adding Nawaz Sharif’s Case would now be decided in the Court of people.

While addressing the PML-N Social Media Convention in Mansehra, Maryam Nawaz said conspiracies were being hatched to keep the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif away from the people.

Maryam Nawaz said Nawaz Sharif was being victimized for serving masses but the people had rejected verdict of Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification. She said every Court of masses was giving its ruling in favor of Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-N leader said if Nawaz Sharif was involved in corruption, the people wouldn’t have extended their full support to him.

Maryam said notices were being served to PML-N leaders for committing Contempt of Court but, she added, it was in fact committed by that judge who disrespected the justice and his position.

The PML-N leader further said the people of Mansehra always supported PML-N. She said the PML-N government was committed to serve the people.
